When purchasing 'dry' screed from a screed silo (consisting of 1 compartment of dry cement and 1 compartment of sand), you will notice that it weighs less because it has not yet been mixed with water. With screed from a screed silo, you only pay for the cement and sand, but not for the water that you add yourself.
