Should a membrane be placed with standard insulation screed?

You may use a membrane for the installation of standard insulating screed in the Staenis grid. Afterwards it can be clad with OSB or Durelis tongue and groove boards.

For the installation of standard insulation screed as a filling layer (without Staenis grid), always place without a membrane.

You can improve the adhesion of the standard insulating screed by moistening the concrete surface with water the night before.
