Can an insulating screed replace a screed?

Yes, with tileable insulation screed. For this you should keep in mind that this tileable insulation screed is weaker than regular screed. So for use in a garage, we recommend screed where the tyres rest/run over.

Even where sprayed pur insulation, insulation boards or insulation screed has already been installed, we always recommend sand cement screed to be placed on top.
