Can an insulation screed replace a screed?

Yes, with tileable insulation screed. For this, you should keep in mind that this tileable insulation screed is weaker than regular screed. Therefore, for use in a garage, we recommend using regular screed locally where the tires rest or drive over.

Even where sprayed PUR insulation, insulation boards or insulation screed have already been installed, we always recommend placing sand-cement screed on top.
