Choose Tile Adhesive or Leveling for Screed - Staenis

A customer asked a Staenis employee whether the use of cement-based leveling compound is necessary for his order of insulating screed, as he saw in a video that some parts were done with regular glue and others with leveling product. The employee replied that the customer can indeed choose between tile adhesive and leveling compound. Tile adhesive can be used like plaster, while leveling compound flows naturally and provides a flatter surface. For better quality tile installation, a leveling layer of tile adhesive or leveling compound is recommended.

The employee also emphasized that the delivery time is 5 to 10 working days and referred to the Staenis Webshop for possible holiday dates and more information about cement-based leveling compound. More details can be found on the page Information about tileable insulation screed with cement-based leveling compound.
