Leveling Garage Floor: Advice and Solutions from Staenis

A customer has a question about leveling a garage floor with a slope from 0 to 41 cm. An advisor from Staenis gives the following advice:

  1. If the flat part is effectively flat, install insulation boards.
  2. For an uneven surface, first install 6 cm insulation screed.
  3. Fill the sloped edge with insulation boards or insulation screed.
  4. If the height is less than 9 cm, remove the existing floor and, after insulation, place a foil, followed by 8 cm screed, adhesive, and tile.
  5. Alternative without overshooting: apply leveling compound or bonded screed in areas with less than 9 cm height.

For further questions, the customer can contact the advisor.
