Garage Floor Leveling: Advice and Solutions from Staenis

A customer has a question about leveling a garage floor with a slope of 0 to 41 cm. A Staenis advisor gives the following advice:

  1. If the flat part is effectively flat, place insulation boards.
  2. If the surface is not flat, first place 6 cm insulation screed.
  3. Fill the sloping side with insulation boards or insulation screed.
  4. If the height is less than 9 cm, extend the existing floor and place foil after insulation, followed by 8 cm screed, glue and tile.
  5. Alternative without slipping: place leveling compound or adhesive screed in places with a height of less than 9 cm.

For further questions, the customer can contact the advisor.
